In 1956, Süddeutsche Bardahl began providing innovative high-performance lubricants, oil additives and fuel additives primarily to the automotive sector. This laid the foundation for the company we are today: Chemie-Technik GmbH. Since the focus of our products moved towards technically advanced, output-boosting lubrications for industry and trade in the 1970s, our products have been sold under the brand name of ELKALUB. KAUP produces around 40, 000 attachments worldwide each year at its three sites. In addition to Aschaffenburg, the Asia-Pacific market is covered by sites in Xiamen in China, and Brisbane, Australia.
